Casa Azahara
Orange blossoms in the desert…
Escape to our tranquil ranch-style home. Splash in the 50′ pool, complete with spa and tanning bench, surrounded by citrus, bougainvillea, and jasmine. Glass doors invite the outside in: dine alfresco on the shaded patio or stretch out in the full sun. Socialize indoors in the open-layout living area, then nap in bedrooms painted in calm adobe colors. At sunset, admire a stunning mountain view — and at night, watch the yard flicker with shifting rainbow lights.
We hope you’ll come stay with us soon!

Welcome to Casa Azahara!
Lounge by the 50′ pool, complete with spa and tanning bench.
It’s long enough that you can swim a few strokes!
You can also see Mt St Jacinto from the south end of the yard…
…while the back of the property is an open space with another mountain view.
As the day cools off, enjoy a late-afternoon swim…
…then rinse off in the outdoor shower.
This corner of the yard…
…has benches perfect for admiring the sunset.
As you arrive, you can park in the driveway or the garage – plenty of space!
Ceramic details adorn the house wherever you look…
…in the front and in the back.
Enter the front gate and admire the walled garden.
It’s your own private retreat.
Come inside! There’s a smart lock and alarm for your safety and convenience.
Watch streaming TV in the living room…
lounge on the recliner or the sectionals…
or just gaze out the picture window at Mt. San Jacinto.
If you want a closer look, take your coffee out the bench in the front yard…
and see the sunrise or the clouds on the mountain, or listen to the doves call.
Back inside, the living room and kitchen connect in an open floorplan.
A bottle of wine welcomes you on your arrival.
We pride ourselves on providing a kitchen with plenty of tools to cook with.
The dining area has two sliding glass windows opening to the pool and the patio.
The patio provides a shady place to relax…
while Lola the giraffe keeps you company in the lazy afternoons.
Around the corner, the gas BBQ gives you plenty of space for grilling up a meal.
Back inside, head down the hallway to the bedrooms and bathrooms.
From the king bed of the primary bedroom, you can look out at the garden & pool.
And you can watch streaming movies in bed on a 55″ 4K Roku TV.
The second bedroom looks out on the front yard…
and includes a small work desk….
and so does the third bedroom.
Its work desk includes a monitor and HDMI cable.
It also has a stunning view of the mountain through an 8-foot window.
Here’s the same view in the winter.
The bathrooms have a contemporary style…
… including spacious showers with frameless glass doors.
Overall, the house has a relaxed, easy flow.
At night, the front yard is filled with festive lights.
They slowly change color, creating all kinds of rainbow combinations.
If you’re lucky, you might get to enjoy a desert monsoon.
You can feel the land just soaking up the rain.
And if you get up early, you might see the cactus flowers bloom.
The flowers are spectacular! With time, they produce a mild fig-like fruit.
The pitaya cactus also gives fruit in season. It’s an intense purple color.
Our little monster cactus guards one corner of the yard.
And a solitary San Pedro stands sentinel in another quiet corner.
We have many kinds of citrus: Meyer lemons, limes, oranges, and tangerines.
Although the Palo Verde tree loses its leaves in winter, the trunk stays green.
The complex geometry of its branches delights the eye…
…and casts a perfect shadow.
